The Truth About Israel

In the beginning, G-d created the Heavens and the Earth

What is the reason the Torah begins with Creation? Because if the nations of the world say to Israel: "You are robbers because you have conquered with force the lands of the nations of Canaan" Israel can answer: "He created it and gave it to whomever was proper in His eyes. Of His own will He gave it to them and of His own will He took it from them and gave it to us."

-- Rashi on Genesis 1:1

TRUST IN G-D –
and you will have peace.

When the Jewish people will trust in G-d, that the Land of Israel belongs unequivocally to them, and are willing to declare this openly to the nations of the world, then “No one will contest the matter, and you will not need to go to war.” In fact, even weapons will prove unnecessary…” The Rebbe, (Likutei Sichos, vol. 34, p. 8)

G-d’s Unbreakable Promises

“And I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse, and in you will be blessed all of the families of the earth” Genesis, 12:3

“And as for Ishmael…behold, I have blessed him, and I will make him fruitful, and multiply him exceediingly…but My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you” Genesis 17:

Be strong and brave. Do not be afraid or feel insecure before them [your enemies], because G-d is the One who is going with you, and He will not fail you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

On that day G-d made a covenant with Abram, saying: ‘To your seed I have given this land (The Land of Israel), from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates’." -- Genesis 15:1-21

“I am G-d of Abraham your father and G-d of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land upon which you are lying. Your descendants will be [plentiful] like the dust of the earth. You shall spread out to the west, to the east, to the north and to the south. All the families on earth will be blessed through you and your descendants.”

As in the days when you left Egypt, [in the final, messianic redemption] I will show you wonders – Micha 7:15

There are three places regarding which the nations of the world cannot taunt Yisroel and say ‘You have stolen them.’ They are: The cave of Machpelah, [in Hebron] , the site of the Bais HaMikdash [the Temple mount in Jerusalem], and the burial place of Joseph [Shechem/Nablus]. (Bereishis Rabbah 79:7)

If your follow My laws...you shall dwell securely in your land. And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid. (Vayikra 26:3-6)

Behold, the guardian of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps – Psalms 121:4

The eyes of G-d are upon it [the Holy land of Israel] from the beginning of the year until the end of the year –
